Swing Ranges

Understanding Swing Ranges

At the core of voltage stabilisation lies the crucial task of determining optimal swing ranges tailored to your specific needs.

Our TS Series stands as a testament to this principle, offering versatile solutions designed to adapt to a spectrum of site and load conditions. With alternative tappings providing three selectable input swings—50:50, 70:30, or 30:70—the TS Series ensures flexibility and future-proofing for your long-term AC voltage control requirements. This adaptability means you can fine-tune your voltage stabilisation setup without the need for costly equipment replacements, optimising efficiency and performance as your needs evolve.

For those navigating the complexities of selecting the correct swing range, our engineering team stands ready to assist you. Whether you're assessing the voltage requirements for a critical industrial operation or safeguarding sensitive electronic equipment in remote locations, our experts are equipped to guide you through the process, ensuring that your voltage stabilisation solution aligns seamlessly with your unique specifications and operational demands.

Our most commonly deployed system, the R30, serves as a reliable cornerstone in voltage stabilisation, offering a total input variation of +/-30%. Within this framework, Tap A, Tap B, and Tap C present distinct input swings tailored to address varying voltage conditions. Tap A spans from -21% to +9%, providing flexibility to accommodate fluctuating power inputs. Tap B offers a symmetrical +/-15% swing, striking a balance between stability and adaptability. Meanwhile, Tap C mirrors Tap A's range in reverse, offering -9% to +21% swing to cater to diverse voltage scenarios, particularly in remote or underserved regions where supply infrastructure may be less robust.

In instances where even greater variations are required to suit specific environmental or operational constraints, higher swing ranges are available upon request. Our commitment to delivering tailored solutions ensures that your voltage stabilisation needs are not only met but exceeded, empowering you to maintain uninterrupted operations and safeguard your critical equipment against voltage fluctuations. Contact us today to explore how our voltage stabilisation solutions can elevate your operational resilience and efficiency.

The TS Series

Our TS series offers alternative tappings providing three selectable input swings within the total input range of 50:50, 70:30, or 30:70. These tappings allow for adjustments to site/load conditions in the future, without requiring the expense of changing the entire equipment. This future-proofs our systems for your long-term AC Voltage control requirements.

Determining Your Swing Ranges

Our most commonly deployed system is the R30, providing a total input variation of +/-30%. Below are the input swings for Tap A, Tap B, and Tap C:

Tap A -21% to +9%
Tap B ± 15%
Tap C -9% to +21%

In remote locations or regions/countries with less robust supply infrastructure, greater variations may be required to suit.

Higher swing ranges are available; please contact us for more information.
